You may have noticed that this blog was created in 2009 and has had no activity whatsoever since then.

Well, it's about time for me to get things going here again.

Please feel free to join this blog and to post a new message to get communications going.

You might want to post a message and tell us a little about yourself, your home country, how long you have been in the U.S., and how your English studies are going so far. That way we can all get to know each other a little better.

Learning English as a New Language

Hello, Students! I'm so happy that you have come to the United States, that you have decided to learn English, and that you have joined our class. I love teaching English and learning so much about the people and places around the world from my students.

This is our blog, "World Talk -- English." It's the place we all post our writings and stories. Then we can read each other's writings and comment on them. We can also have our children and other family members read what we write. We can even communicate with friends and family members in our "home" countries and other parts of the world.

I'm really looking forward to reading your stories and to sharing my stories with you. This should be great fun for us all! [And maybe we'll learn some new things about writing in English along the way.]
